Open Summit AI
Terms and conditions
Ticket, refund and attendance terms for Open Summit AI events.

Last updated 31 July 2026
1. The events
Open Summit AI runs single-day AI business events across a tour of cities. Each event has its own date and venue, published on that city's page. Events are organised by Number.com.au Pty Ltd, ABN 53 691 785 850 ("the Organiser"). These terms apply to every event on the tour and to your use of opensummit.ai.
2. Tickets
- Australian ticket prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Tickets are processed by Stripe. By buying, you also accept Stripe's terms.
- Each ticket admits one person to the event named on it. A ticket is valid only for that city and date.
- Tickets are transferable — you may pass a ticket to someone else at no charge. Tell us the new attendee's name before the day so their badge is ready.
- Prices for future releases may change. The price you paid is the price you paid.
3. Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable.
Every ticket is fully transferable at no charge, at any time before the event. Pass it to someone else and tell us the new attendee’s name at team@opensummit.ai before the day so their badge is ready. A seat never has to go to waste.
4. If the event changes
The Organiser may change speakers, session content, the running order or the venue where necessary. If an event is cancelled outright, ticket holders receive a full refund. If an event is postponed, your ticket carries to the new date, or you can take a full refund instead.
5. Conduct
Attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally. The Organiser may remove anyone engaging in harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour, without refund.
6. Intellectual property and filming
- Presentations and materials remain the property of the people who made them.
- The event is photographed and filmed. By attending you consent to your likeness appearing in Open Summit marketing material. Tell the door team on arrival if you would rather not be filmed.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, the Organiser is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your attendance, including loss of property or business losses. Total liability is limited to the ticket price paid. Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Privacy
Your information is handled under our privacy policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
