1. Who we are

Open Summit AI is operated by Number.com.au Pty Ltd, ABN 53 691 785 850. This policy covers how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit opensummit.ai, register your interest, or buy a ticket to one of our events.

2. What we collect

Information you give us directly:

Information we collect automatically:

3. How we use it

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers who make the event run — our payment processor (Stripe), our email and CRM tooling, our ticketing and check-in systems, and our advertising platforms for conversion measurement. We do not sell your personal information.

Where a sponsor or partner receives attendee details, it is only where you have explicitly opted in — for example by having your badge scanned at their stand, or by agreeing to an introduction. You can attend the whole event without opting in to anything.

5. How long we keep it

We keep ticketing and financial records for seven years, as Australian tax law requires. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email team@opensummit.ai and we will action it within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

7. Cookies

We use cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block them in your browser; the site will still work.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections and access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach ever affects your information we will notify you and the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
