Community partner programme

Bringyour people.

Meetups, accelerators, universities, industry bodies and user groups already do the hard part: they hold a community together. The community partner programme gives yours a way into the room, and gives the room the people you have gathered.

Apply to partner

This is a trade,not a favour.

You bring your community something worth their day. We get a room with the people who actually turn up to things, which is a much shorter list than the people who follow things.

There is no fee in either direction. What there is instead is a clear set of things you get and a clear set of things we ask for, both written down before anyone commits.

03What you get

What your
community gets.

Ticket allocation

An allocation of seats for your members, at a community rate or free depending on the size of the allocation.

Named on the site

Your community listed as a partner with your mark, on the site and in the programme for the cities you are part of.

A voice in the programme

Community partners are the first place we look when we need a panellist, a case study or someone to run a session.

Space on the floor

Where it makes sense, a place on the floor for your community to gather during the day. Ask early, space is finite.

Co-marketing

Assets, copy and imagery built for you rather than a logo and good luck. You should not have to make our marketing for us.

The record afterwards

Photography and the written record of the day, for your community to use however they want.

04Who it is for

The kind of
community.

Meetups
AI, data, engineering, product and founder meetups with a real turnout rather than a real mailing list.
Accelerators
Programmes and start-up hubs whose cohorts should be in front of operators and investors.
Education
Universities, TAFEs and training providers with students and researchers worth putting in the room.
Industry bodies
Associations and chambers whose members are the operators this event is built for.

If your community does not fit any of those but you think it belongs, apply anyway and say why. The list is a starting point, not a gate.

05The trade

What we
ask of you.

  1. Tell your community

One clear, honest note to your members. Not a campaign, not a hard sell, just letting them know it exists.

    Once, well
  2. Show up

Someone from your community actually comes. A partnership where nobody attends helps neither of us.

    On the day
  3. Use your codes

Your allocation goes through your own code so we can both see whether this worked and adjust for the next city.

    Trackable
  4. Share the record

Afterwards, put the photos and the write-up in front of the people who did not make it.

    After the day
  5. Tell us the truth

If it did not work for your community, say so. We would rather fix it than repeat it.

    Always

Allocation sizes, discount levels and stand availability are [TBC] per city and are agreed with you before anything is announced. Nothing here is automatic.

07Process

How it works.

Step one

Tell us about your community

Who they are, how many actually show up to things, and what you would want them to get out of the day. Honest numbers help you here, they do not hurt you.

Step two

We agree the trade

Written down, both sides: what your community gets, what you will do to tell them about it, and by when. Short document, no surprises.

Step three

You are on the list

Listing, assets, codes and a named contact. Then we leave you alone until there is something you actually need to know.
