Open Summit AI Awards

The work,recognised.

Four awards for the people and businesses actually shipping AI. Not the loudest launch, the clearest result. Enter your own work, or nominate someone whose work deserves the room to know about it.

Four categories.

AI Business of the Year

For a business that has put AI to work inside its own operations and can show what changed as a result. Judged on the change to the business, not the sophistication of the technology.

Who is eligibleAny organisation that has deployed AI inside its own operations. Any sector, any size, anywhere on the tour, from sole trader to enterprise.

Enter or nominate

AI Innovation of the Year

For the most inventive AI application built this year. A product, a feature or an internal system that solved a real problem in a way the field had not seen done quite like that.

Who is eligibleAny organisation or team that has shipped an AI product, feature or internal system to real users in the twelve months before the entry deadline.

Enter or nominate

Young AI Innovator of the Year

For anyone under 35 whose work in AI is already changing how a business, an industry or a community operates. Track record over job title.

Who is eligibleAny individual under 35 at the entry deadline working in AI, whether in a company, a start-up, a research institution, government or on their own.

Enter or nominate

AI Community Builder of the Year

For the person doing the unglamorous work of building the AI community: teaching it, convening it, mentoring into it and arguing for it in public.

Who is eligibleAny individual who has built or grown an AI community through education, events, mentoring or advocacy. Not restricted by sector or employer.

Enter or nominate

How it works.

Step one

Enter

Tell us what was built, what changed because of it, and how you know. One form, either mode. You can submit in more than one category.

Step two

Shortlist

Shortlisted entries are contacted directly by email.

Step three

Presented

Winners are announced on stage at Open Summit in front of the room.

Enter or nominate.

Either takes a few minutes. Be specific about the result: a number, a before and after, a customer who noticed. Vague submissions do not shortlist well.

Nominating someone else is encouraged. The people doing the best work are usually the least likely to put themselves forward, and we will contact them before anything is published.

Questions about eligibility go to team@opensummit.ai.
